Children’s Ministries
In order to balance out all the negative influences in today’s world, it is crucial that children be exposed to Christian principles in order to develop grounded values. Strong, biblically based teaching, parental involvement, and opportunities to build friendships with others that share their Christian faith are the basis for all of our children’s programs.
Homeschool and play group: Is on break for the summer.
HeirBorn Kids: September through June–Meets each Sunday from9:15-10 in the Concordia Library. This year, the HeirBorn Kids are on a “Quest” which teaches children about how to live as a child of God using Bible metaphors (Child, Athlete, Steward…). See the HeirBorn blog for details.
All children ages 3 years-6th grade meet in a large group to begin and then break out into small groups depending for more age appropriate activities which reinforce the bottom line and key verse. Parents are encouraged to attend at the introduction of each unit of study and to continue the lessons at home with the Heirborn Herald–a family devotional guide.
